La Belle Equipe ASD aims to promote and develop the practice and culture of cycling in all its expressions. The idea of forming the association was born from the homonymous store in the historic center of Pisa, to meet the need of many cyclists to have a meeting point, assistance and where they can propose/participate in organized initiatives: live cycling in its most important component, the social one. Trying to fill the void that had been created in the city was the first objective; in fact, it was probably more than 30 years that there was no cycling group organized within the city walls.
The association is divided into three main sectors: racing, amateur and old-school.
Racing Team
The racing team is involved in all the main competitive races, in both regional and national non professional championships. It is made up of young people and athletes with long experience; united by team spirit and associational spirit, leaving aside ambitions that compete only to pros.
Amateur Group
The amateur group is aimed at non-agonists of all ages, for those who like to use the bike from the more recreational side, even participating in non-competitive events such as granfondo or cycle tourism. Being part of the amateur group means meeting new people, learning to ride a bike with a group and spending free time on a bike in a healthy and fun way.
Old School Group
The old school group, on the other hand, is the forge enthusiasts of cycling history: the environment where we talk about the myths of the past, where you can read volumes and where bikes and vintage clothing are developed to participate in the numerous historical cyclists throughout Italy.
Anyone interested can visit us in Via Mercanti 23 in Pisa every day, except Sunday, from 9 to 13 and from 15:30 to 19:30.
